Electrical engineering is a professional education to develop young engineers with many career opportunities. Electrical Engineering is a base engineering discipline to support all power and energy sector engineers. It serves as input in many cases to electronics, computer, telecommunication, robotics, aeronautics and even in space power systems.
The qualified young engineers will be able to further their career in PTCL, WAPDA, Electric Companies, Energy Production or even Electrical Goods manufacturing. They can further study Electronics, Computer Engineering, Robotics, and Solar Systems and nanotechnologies. They can design and manufacture electrical cars etc. Electrical engineering also has a major role other sub fields like control & automation and signal processing. It is also vital in new and emerging fields such as Controls, Robotics and Smart renewable energy systems etc.
At Grafton College, we follow the UET Lahore Standard curriculum and regulations while complying with PEC regulations for curriculum coverage, skill development and laboratory conduction etc. In addition, the department arranges collaboration with local and international experts in IEEE in order to provide implement updated / innovative ideas in the international market. PEC registration will now allow them to apply for appropriate international professional licenses as well.

a. Engineering Knowledge
Apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals to the solution of complex engineering problems.

Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyse complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences.

Design solutions for complex engineering problems. Design systems, components, or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, ethics and efficiency.
